Plastic Sheds

Plastic sheds offer many advantages over traditional wooden or metal sheds and can be just as visually attractive. Made from PVC or polyethylene, they come in a wide range of styles to suit all purposes and tastes.

PlasticSheds.org.uk brings you more information on the most popular ranges of plastic sheds, including Duramax, Suncast, Lifetime and Grosfillex. We are developing a price comparison feature to help you find discounted plastic sheds and bargain prices. Also we feature a series of reviews covering popular sheds and stores.

Whether you want to store your garden tools; provide a secure, waterproof bike shelter; create extra space for those household goods that are overflowing from your house, or simply protect your garden furniture from the elements, you will find a plastic shed to suit your needs.

Size ranges from small garden stores which are barely more than small cupboards or chests, for holding a few garden hand tools, to large sheds capable of housing household furniture, ride on lawn mowers, or even cars.

Plastic sheds offer many advantages.

They are the very epitome of easy maintenance, and require far less work to keep in good condition when compared to wooden sheds or metal sheds. Plastic sheds can last for many years without any attention, thanks to the non-degradable, UV resistant, plastics from which they are made.

Unlike wooden sheds, plastic garden sheds and stores wont rot and will never succumb to woodworm! You wont need to break out the paintbrushes every year to paint or coat them in preservative.

They tend not to chip or dent like traditional sheds. Moss is reluctant to grow on them and they tend to wash clean naturally in the rain. So they are likely to look smart for much longer than traditional sheds.

Plastic sheds are lighter weight and so can be more easily moved around the garden when you change your ideas.

They tend to be much cheaper than an equivalent size and style of shed made in wood or metal. Their indestructible nature means they tend to last a very long time too, making them particularly good value for money, when compared to traditional sheds.

Plastic lends itself to moulding into a wider variety of shapes and styles than would be possible with wood or metal. This makes all sorts of attractive designs feasible, and allows for greater functionality than can be achieved with traditional materials.

There is much less tendency for plastic sheds to leak when compared to wooden or metal sheds, as their moulded designs have fewer joints that might allow the ingress of water. So your precious new bicycle or lawn mower will be safe.

We are constantly on the lookout for the best deals on high quality, cheap plastic sheds. So check back regularly for the latest bargains.

I bought a plastic shed several years ago and it still looks really good. It maybe doesn't weather as picturesquely as wooden garden sheds but it's a lot less work to maintain. It's a Duramax shed and I can't complain at all about the quality - very strong and well built. Just wish I'd bought one a bit bigger - but then I think any shed is never quite big enough is it!
